The Siting Teapot is a pear-shaped red clay (Zhu Ni) purple clay teapot created by Lu Siting, a potter during the early Qing Dynasty. It features a tall, slender pear-shaped body resembling a gourd ladle, with a curved spout rising elegantly from the belly, a delicate and upright loop handle, and a tall, domed lid that fits neatly with the mouth.
